Agent Bridge privacy statement

Agent Bridge is a Visual Studio extension, sold by Cloud Core Systems LLC, that runs the Claude Code command-line tool on your computer and shows its conversation in a tool window.

Your code and your conversations

Your code and your conversations

Your prompts, your files, the editor context and the Error List are passed to the Claude Code process on your own computer. From there they go to Anthropic under Anthropic’s terms, exactly as they would if you ran Claude Code in a terminal. Agent Bridge never sends them to us.

What Agent Bridge sends to us

What Agent Bridge sends to us

Only the licence check talks to our service (agentbridgelicensing.azurewebsites.net). On activation, at Visual Studio start-up and about once an hour, it sends:

  • licenseKey – The key you bought. Not sent during the trial.

  • product – Always “agent-bridge”.

  • instanceId – A salted SHA-256 hash of the Windows machine id. The machine id itself is never sent, and the hash cannot be turned back into it.

  • machineName – Your computer’s name, on activation only, so your seat list says which machine is which.

  • agentVersion – The Agent Bridge version, on activation only.

That is used to count your seats and nothing else. The trial is tracked only on your computer; nothing is sent while you are on it.

Buying a licence

The purchase happens in your browser on Stripe’s checkout. Stripe, through Link, is the merchant of record: it collects your payment details, billing address and any tax due, under its own privacy policy, and sends your receipts. Agent Bridge itself never talks to Stripe. From the purchase we receive your email address, the number of seats and the state of the subscription, which we use to email your licence key (sent from an azurecomm.net address through Azure Communication Services) and to keep the licence in step with the subscription.

What stays on your computer

What stays on your computer

Under %LocalAppData%\AgentBridge\: the chat transcript per solution, the last session id, cached command lists, the cost of your turns, and the licence status (encrypted for your Windows user). Trial markers are also kept in the registry under HKCU. Uninstalling leaves these files; delete the folder to remove them.
